Rachel Sherman has been volunteering and coordinating volunteers around the valley since 2013. They are driven in their work by a curiosity about how people come together to take care of themselves and one another. For over 10 years years, Rachel has been building community with Arizona Roller Derby, not only as an internationally competitive skater with the Arizona All-Stars, but also as a coach, official, announcer, Training Program Manager, and very loud spectator. Rachel loves almost anything that can be done on rollerskates, especially dance skating, aggressive park skating, and distance skating. Also, Rachel has only worn this tassel shirt twice in real life, and wow isn’t it fancy?
