Learn & grow
We are a coaching organization and work to support our staff in learning new professional skills. When you work at SPW, you’ll have:
- Weekly 1:1 meetings with your supervisor
- An open channel to provide feedback to your peers and supervisors
- Support in identifying your strengths and areas for growth
- Access to conferences, training opportunities, and certifications
- Opportunities to be promoted to higher positions

In the past, SPW staff have attended the National Harm Reduction Conference, received phlebotomy training, been certified in interpretation, and more. Former staff have gone on to start sober living homes, get their masters and PHDs in drug policy focus areas.

What to expect
We’re so excited to meet you! The best way for us to connect is by submitting an application and going through our hiring process.
Each application process is slightly different based on the position. In general, you can expect to write a cover letter, take an assessment based on skills you might need for the position, and go through 2 rounds of interviews with a hiring team made of SPW staff from all levels of the organization.
