Kate first connected with Sonoran Prevention Works as a volunteer before joining the team as Development Director. With a background in development and systems change, Kate has led fundraising efforts, built strategic partnerships, and consulted for nonprofits, community networks, industry leaders, and systems of care throughout Arizona and Oregon. She is trained in trauma-informed approaches and strongly believes in integrating lived experience, community wisdom, and storytelling into development and change efforts. In her free time, Kate loves reading, riding motorcycles, trying to understand her teenagers, and being outside as much as possible.
