Julien is ecstatic to be a part of the Sonoran Prevention Works team. Mutual aid and self empowerment have been key factors to where they are today. They started harm reduction in his own life to help hold down a job and keep themselves out of jail. What started off as a way to survive the punitive and biased justice system, became a passion for empowerment and autonomy. They strive to combat misinformation around people who use drugs, while helping empower individuals in their community based on their needs at that moment. Outside of this fulfilling work they enjoy dance arts, nature, and bringing their dog with them wherever they can.
