Jessica Williams is the Outreach Manager at SPW. She has loved and been in community with people who use drugs as well those in recovery. She is also a community organizer having spent over 10 years serving as a domestic violence and sexual assault advocate. Jessica’s journey to this career began with her being a witness to domestic and state violence while being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. She was born in Mississippi in the early 80s where her family, like many others, faced extreme poverty and discrimination. The uprisings of 2014 and 2015 eventually lead Jessica to the powerful work in community activism. Jessica has advocated for Black Women who use drugs, were undocumented, incarcerated, homeless, trafficked, mentally ill, abandoned and forgotten. Jessica is a fierce leader in the fight towards liberation.
