Dani is a poet and teacher based in Phoenix, AZ. After working in tech and writing for dating apps, Dani was interested in using her powers for good and is excited to be working with SPW as the Communications Specialist. Before SPW, Dani received a BA in Writing from Grand Valley State University and an MFA in Poetry from Georgia College and State University. She embraces a contemplative way of living that was first introduced to her by First Church of the Brethren, who housed her first nonprofit gig, D.O.O.R. (now We Collectively). When not learning more about harm reduction, you can find Dani teaching poetry workshops with Thems., reading her kindle on the treadmill, or making music with her partner and her poodle, Ollie.
