Chase Rowley,

Workforce Development Specialist

Chase has developed a strong background in curriculum development, facilitation, and advocacy. They come to Sonoran Prevention Works with diverse facilitation experience, from training in the corporate tech industry on various topics to mentoring LGTBQ+ youth in the greater Phoenix area. They have cultivated a passion for creating and maintaining inclusive spaces for all folks to learn and grow in relation to themselves and others. Through this experience, they recognize advocacy requires both accountability and compassion. They always strive to meet others where they are and help them to a place of self-awareness and action. Currently, they are pursuing their MA in Outdoor Education Leadership with an emphasis on social justice to help make the outdoors more inclusive and equitable for QTBIPOC youth. They hope to bring these same learnings to Harm Reduction. In their personal life, you can find Chase hosting their podcast that amplifies LGTBQ+ voice in the outdoors, reconnecting with Mother Nature on the weekends with their pitty-mix Scout, and being fabulously independent together with their amazing partner.
