I am Jalen Redhair, Harm Reduction Outreach Worker, and member of the Navajo Nation. I have over 10 years of public health experience in Arizona and have worked directly with other federal, state and local agencies, including tribal governments. I received my bachelor in Public Health: Health Sciences at Northern Arizona University and currently in graduate school. My goals are to bring awareness and education about drugs and harm reduction to everyone, while being mindful of cultural practices and past traumas. My own lived experience with substance abuse (alcohol) and inherent passion to help people has lead me to SPW. I am blessed to serve the northern Arizona communities and look forward to working with a diverse group of people in a very special time in history. When I am not working or going to school, I enjoy time with my son, DIY projects and eating mutton with frybread.
